 Prestigious GRAMMY® Week Event Highlights the GRAMMY Foundation’s Ongoing Work To Safeguard Music’s History 

WHO:

The GRAMMY Foundation®will host Lean On Me: A Celebration Of Music And Philanthropy, the 17th Annual GRAMMY Foundation Legacy Concert, featuring live musical performances and archival footage from its preservation archives. Performers include GRAMMY® winners Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Lauper, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson; current GRAMMY nominee Aloe Blacc; GRAMMY winner and current nominee Erica Campbell; singer/songwriter Rozzi Crane; electronic violinist and artist Lindsey Stirling; GRAMMY nominee Robin Thicke; and R&B vocalist Deborah Cox and alt-pop band WALK THE MOON. Olivia Harrison will join the event for special remarks. The evening’s musical director will be songwriter/producer and GRAMMY Foundation Board member Darrell BrownNeil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy® and the GRAMMY Foundation, will be in attendance, along with other prominent music industry leaders and members of The Recording Academy.

Lean On Me, the 17th Annual GRAMMY Foundation Legacy Concert — presented by Seagatewith support from RBC Capital Markets — will explore the evolution of music’s role in advancing philanthropic causes and celebrate the visionaries behind the creation of those iconic songs and concerts.
